1 dies in crash on state Route 125 in La Mesa
One motorist was killed and as many as three others were injured in an early-morning collision Sunday on state Route 125 in La Mesa, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 4:30 a.m. on northbound Route 25 at Spring Street, according to the California Highway Patrol. It was unclear how many people were injured. The CHP said there were injuries involving people in either two or three vehicles.
The cause of the crash was under investigation. No other details were available.
The accident closed down a segment of the freeway for several hours Sunday morning.
