San Diego County restaurants offer various ways to celebrate Thanksgiving. There are choices for brunch, dinner and premade take-out meals.
Plus, some places are hosting Friendsgiving specials. Reservations are highly suggested ahead of time at restaurants. Here is a list of options.

Adelaide: L’Auberge Del Mar’s Adelaide restaurant is offering Thanksgiving meal options all day. For early risers, there is an à la carte breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. The afternoon brings a $125 ($39 for children) Thanksgiving brunch buffet with an omelet station, a seafood bar, pancakes, waffles, brie flatbread made to order and rosemary-roasted turkey breast. The $155 ($49 for children) Thanksgiving dinner is a prix fixe meal. Callie: A shareable family-style feast is what Michelin Bib Gourmand-honored Callie is preparing for Thanksgiving. Chef Travis Swikard and his team will serve a four-course meal that includes Mediterranean food such as Lebanese muhammara, pâté, white truffle risotto and Turkish rice pudding. There will also be organic turkey, braised short ribs, salmon, pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate chip cookies. The four-course, family-style meal will be offered from 1 to 7:30 p.m. and will be $99 per adult. Covewood: Views of Mission Bay and live music will accompany Thanksgiving dinner at Covewood. Executive chef Roy Hendrickson is preparing a three-course menu that includes a butternut squash soup, turkey and pumpkin pie. The Thanksgiving meal is $90 for adults and $40 for children. Guests can also get a seafood tower for $90. Giardino: In Lemon Grove, Giardino is cooking up a three-course Thanksgiving meal. On the first course, customers can get either fried calamari, honeycrisp salad, butternut squash soup or meatballs. Course two has the options of a roasted turkey plate with mashed potatoes and carrots, butternut squash ravioli, grilled salmon, short ribs, Chilean sea bass or a boneless ribeye steak for an additional $20. Dessert choices are tiramisu or caramel cheesecake. Greenfinch Restaurant: For those who prefer a daytime Thanksgiving meal, Greenfinch Restaurant at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa is offering a brunch buffet. Chef Karina Ortiz and her staff are preparing artisan antipasti, pepper-crusted prime rib, seafood platters, bacon-wrapped tenderloin, roasted turkey, salmon and miso black cod. Plus, there will be Greenfinch signature sides and seasonal desserts. The Thanksgiving day buffet is $120 per adult and $55 per child. Lionfish: Fried turkey is on the menu for Thanksgiving at Lionfish Modern Coastal Cuisine. For two days, guests can get Lionfish’s Friendsgiving Feast. It comes with a bucket of deep-fried turkey, truffle macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes and buttermilk biscuits. Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina: Thanksgiving guests at the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina can pick from several traditional favorite foods, along with seafood and desserts, at its dinner buffet. Some of the Thanksgiving offerings at the buffet include butternut squash soup, shrimp cocktail, lobster rolls and roasted beet salad. Main meat options include roasted turkey, slow-roasted prime rib, seafood cioppino, Moroccan lamb chops and vegan meatloaf. Dessert choices involve apple cobbler, pecan pie, pumpkin cheesecake and a sweet potato crème brulee. Vessel Restaurant + Bar: Executive Chef Ethan Brown is crafting two meal options for Thanksgiving at Vessel Restaurant + Bar. One is a lunch buffet that features traditional Thanksgiving foods such as turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese and pumpkin pie. The buffet is available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs $39 per child ages five to 12 years, $89 per adult and kids under five years can eat for free. The other choice is a prix fixe dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. It includes turkey or salmon, pumpkin soup, beet salad and various pies. Premade meals for pick-up

Coaster Saloon: Thanksgiving meals to go are what Coaster Saloon is serving this year. The $224.95 Thanksgiving meal includes a choice of meats, three family-size sides, dinner rolls and cranberry sauce. For an additional $29.95 each, there are apple crumble, pecan and pumpkin pies. Urban Plates: Urban Plates says it’s keeping its Thanksgiving turkey family meal at the same price as last year. The $184.95 feast, which serves six to eight people, according to Urban Plates, comes with herb-roasted turkey breast, mushroom stuffing, gravy, cranberry relish and sliced artisan bread. Customers also get a choice of two sides: roasted Brussels sprouts, mashed organic potatoes, herb-roasted marble potatoes, rainbow carrots and golden beets, macaroni and cheese or extra mushroom stuffing. Orders must be made by Nov. 23 and picked up on Nov. 25 or 26. Plus, anything on the dessert menu must be ordered at least 24 hours before Thanksgiving.
