CEA announces launch of incentive finder tool

The Clean Energy Alliance announced the launch of its Incentive Finder Tool, which is designed to help connect customers with rebates, tax credits, discounts and other benefits.

“Our Incentive Finder Tool is designed to help customers identify opportunities to save money while continuing to make energy-smart choices for their homes and businesses,” Greg Wade, CEO of the Clean Energy Alliance, said in a statement. “Some opportunities are expiring soon, so we hope the Incentive Finder can help our community members make the most of some limited-time savings available.”

The tool helps match customers to those potential benefits based on eligibility using basic details such as their zip code.

“By simplifying the process and presenting results in one place, the tool makes it easier for residents to take action,” according to a Clean Energy Alliance news release. “Customers can act now to take advantage of federal tax credits set to expire, including those for home solar, battery storage and other qualifying upgrades like electric heat pumps.”

As one of the newest Community Choice Aggregation programs, the Clean Energy Alliance is currently serving more than 255,000 customers in the cities of Carlsbad, Del Mar, Escondido, Oceanside, San Marcos, Solana Beach and Vista.
