Can’t Newsom focus on fixing something — anything — in California?
How heartening that California’s governor — who has not been able to fix one significant problem in the state — is attempting to secure the U.S. House of Representatives for the Democrats by asking state voters to approve his own gerrymandering plan.
This man’s political and mental acumen runs a mile wide and an inch deep. He is both arrogant and hypocritical. His leadership, along with the Democratic supermajority in Sacramento, exemplifies failed governance. If the governor devoted as much attention to examining the reasons behind the significant migration of individuals and businesses from California as he does to matters concerning Texas or Washington, D.C., it could lead to progress on important issues such as addressing the state’s massive budget deficit.
And this man wants to be president. Welcome to California, where the only qualification for getting elected to state government seems to be incompetence.
