Del Mar Foundation Halloween Dog Parade & Costume Competition to be held

The Del Mar Foundation invites the dogs of Del Mar and their humans to attend the fun and free Annual Halloween Dog Parade & Costume Competition.

The event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 26, at Powerhouse Park. Check-in opens at 11 a.m. The parade around the park will begin at approximately 11:30 a.m. with winners announced at the conclusion of the parade.

Ribbons will be awarded for best costume in the following categories: Most Original Costume, Scariest, Funniest, Best Family Costume, Cutest, Glamorous.

Powerhouse Park is not a leash-free park. Dogs must remain leashed throughout the event. Dexter’s Deli will provide treats for the parade participants.
