Dogoween dresses up La Jolla art museum to help animals in need of homes
The La Jolla Loves Pets Foundation’s fourth annual Dogoween drew more than 100 canine competitors for a Halloween costume contest and some 250 people to the courtyard at The Kitchen at La Jolla’s Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego on Oct. 25.
The event raised more than $6,500 to go toward donations to the Animal Rescue Resource Foundation and Fido Foster, organizers said.
Also, several rescue dogs up for adoption received serious interest, according to La Jolla Loves Pets.
