Driver, 19, dies when pickup crashes in Talmadge area
A 19-year-old driving a pickup died in a crash in the Talmadge area Tuesday afternoon, San Diego police said.
The crash happened just after 2 p.m. on Fairmount Avenue north of Aldine Drive, Officer John Buttle said.
The initial investigation indicates the man was driving a 2007 Ford F150 north on Fairmount when the truck overturned, Buttle said.
The driver, the pickup’s only occupant, was thrown from the truck, Buttle said. He died at the scene.
No further information was immediately available.
