Fair weather expected for most of this weekend’s Miramar Air Show
A low-pressure system could produce sporadic drizzle and cloudy skies Friday during the first day of the Miramar Air Show. But skies will be clear Saturday and Sunday and temperatures will rise to the mid-to-upper 70s, the National Weather Service said.
However, forecasters note that the relative humidity at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar will be an uncomfortable 85 percent Saturday and 82 percent Sunday. And winds will be light. These conditions can lead to dehydration.
The weather service also says that energy from former Hurricane Narda will produce surf in the 2- to 4-foot range this weekend, with sets to 5 feet, especially at south-facing beaches. Sea surface temperatures will range from 60 degrees, which is below normal, to 67.
