First Thursdays hosted Peter Sprague with ‘Camarada: All You Need Is Love’

First Thursdays presented Peter Sprague with “Camarada: All You Need Is Love” on Thursday, Dec. 4 at Del Mar Town Hall.

Renowned guitarist Peter Sprague led the exceptional ensemble in a reimagining of The Beatles’ hits, blending the Fab Four’s familiar melodies with Sprague’s innovative and jazzified creations, according to a news release. It was an evening in Del Mar “celebrating the musical legacy of The Beatles and their creativity, and, of course, love!”

Mark your calendar: On Dec. 24, Sprague will present his annual Del Mar Christmas Eve concert, a free outdoor event that will begin at 1 p.m. at the Jim Watkins Amphitheater (L’Auberge}. This tradition is now in its 45th year. Del Mar Foundation is sponsoring this year’s concert, and all are encouraged to attend.
