First Thursdays hosts Romero Guitar Quartet
Over half a century after walking onto the world stage as their first classical guitar quartet, The Romeros continue to be an institution in the world of classical music. They have performed at The White House, at the Vatican, and even a command performance for his Royal Highness, the Prince of Wales. And now they have also performed at the Del Mar Powerhouse and Town Hall!
Their music at Del Mar Town Hall ranged from an Allegro in D Major to Flamenco with all beautifully played pieces in between. “What a thrill to have them back for First Thursdays,” a Del Mar Foundation news release stated.
