Foodie Forecast: Half-off margaritas, museum beer and free cheeseburgers

Puesto: Puesto is offering customers a deal on Thursdays. All of its margaritas on the menu are 50% off during the late afternoon and evenings that day. Puesto offers its classic margaritas, along with flavored ones such as mango, cucumber, watermelon, coconut, peach habanero, raspberry and bergamot, guava, spicy serrano and a cadillac margarita. Wine dinner: Rumorosa is hosting a three-course dinner with dessert and wine pairing featuring Clos Benoit Wines. The food menu includes shrimp ceviche, sea bass, ossobuco with birria and a chocolate cake. Beer and art: The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and Societe Brewing Co. are collaborating for a beer can release party. The can feature different elements of the museum and is designed by Richie Moon. This collaboration is the brewery’s first with the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. After the release party, about 70,000 cans will be available to buy where Societe Brewing is sold, including The Kitchen at the museum. 5 to 6:30 p.m. Friday. Taste of South Park: The Taste of South Park is back after a five-year break. This year, the public can sample from over 20 businesses such as Buona Forchetta, Kindred, Fernside, Shawarma Guys and Mutual Friend Ice Cream. There will also be complementary trolley rides to take guests along this self-guided, all-ages food tour. Check-in will be at Ivy Street Coworking. Free burgers: The Melt is offering 1,000 free cheeseburgers on National Cheeseburger Day next Thursday. The public can get in on the deal by being a Melt reward member before Wednesday. Restaurant Week: San Diego’s Restaurant Week is back with food and drink specials during eight days. More than 100 businesses in over 30 San Diego County neighborhoods will be participating. The public can sample meal deals at restaurants such as North Italia in Del Mar, Farmer’s Table in La Mesa, Tom Ham’s Lighthouse and the Bali Hai Restaurant.
