Halloween was made special for foster teens
The foster teens of San Pasqual Academy received wonderful gifts from many caring individuals, that made their Halloween very special. The National Charity League, Del Norte Chapter Ticktocker Class of 2030, created very festive Halloween boxes that were filled with many Halloween treats and surprises.
Halloween cards were also lovingly created by these National Charity League members and this project was coordinated by Liz Cabezuela and Kara Manqueros. Catherine and Whitney Garrigan created unique cards that had spiders on them and attached to each card was a special treat for each foster teen. They also provided additional snacks for all the foster students, according to a news release.
The Friends of San Pasqual Academy hosted a special Halloween event that included a delicious, catered dinner, raffle prizes, Halloween costume contests and music that was provided by a disc jockey. The foster teens loved this wonderful Halloween Party, which was made possible by the many dedicated supporters of Friends of San Pasqual Academy.
Friends of San Pasqual Academy is currently planning a traditional Thanksgiving Feast that will include special gifts for all the foster students. A Holiday Party and New Year’s Eve Party is also being planned that will make these special holidays very meaningful for the foster students of San Pasqual Academy, the news release stated.
