High School Football Roundup: Bishop’s moves to 4-0 with win over Patrick Henry
As the high school football season keeps rolling along, so do the undefeated Bishop’s School Knights, who stretched their season-opening winning streak to four this week.
La Jolla Country Day School also has a four-game streak going, but not the type the Torreys would like as they try to snap their skid next week in an in-town matchup against Bishop’s.
La Jolla High School had the week off, and the Vikings now prepare for a big game against Point Loma.

The Knights remained unbeaten at 4-0 with a 31-28 road victory over Patrick Henry of San Diego (1-4) on Sept. 19.
Next, Bishop’s will host crosstown competitor and Coastal League rival La Jolla Country Day (1-4) at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 26, at La Jolla High School.

The Torreys dropped their fourth straight game with a 39-9 loss to undefeated Army-Navy Academy of Carlsbad (5-0) on Sept. 19.
Country Day (1-4) has another tough matchup coming up with a road game against unbeaten Bishop’s (4-0) at 7 p.m. Sept. 26 at La Jolla High School.

The Vikings (3-1) had a bye this week and will try to extend their three-game winning streak in a key Eastern League showdown at undefeated Point Loma (4-0) at 7 p.m. Sept. 26.
