Holiday Inn: The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe’s event lineup includes tree and menorah lightings, champagne

The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe has a full line-up of festive holiday activities on the books for the month of December.

The season kicks off with the Rancho Santa Fe Village’s Holiday Stroll on  Thursday, Dec. 4, a newer tradition now in its third year, inviting locals to come out and explore village vendors with complimentary treats, cocktails and carols from 4-7 p.m.

At 5 p.m., guests can gather on The Inn’s lawn for a “magical” Tree Lighting Ceremony with live music, entertainment and other seasonal surprises.

That night will mark the launch of the Cliqout Inn the Snow Pop-Up, The Inn’s new partnership with Veuve Clicquot. On Dec. 4-7 and Dec, 18-21, The Inn’s Croquet Cottage will be transformed into a snowy, après-ski chalet with champagne tastings and fondue. Veuve Clicquot will be available by the bottle, glass, or flight—other offerings include a champagne-inspired spa treatment and an overnight rooms package. As a special keepsake, a limited number of personalized wine sleeves will be available for purchase at the Dec. 4 pop-up to take home.

On Sunday, Dec. 7, from 4-5 p.m. The Inn will host a Christmas carol sing-along with the Village Church. The night will include a hot cocoa stand and cookies and is free for all ages.

A Christmas Market with gifts to grab from local vendors will be held on Dec. 11 from 4-7 p.m. and complimentary cookie decorating sessions will be offered on Dec.13 and 20 from 1-3 p.m. in the Croquet Cottage (Space is limited for the cookie decorating and advanced reservations are required)

A Menorah Lighting Ceremony will be held on the Croquet Lawn on Monday, Dec. 15 at 4:30 p.m. The event held in partnership with the Chabad Jewish Center of Rancho Santa Fe will celebrate the Festival of Lights with traditional blessings over the candles, kosher snacks and kids’ crafts and games. Daily lighting of the menorah will take place each day of Hanukkah at sunset in the lobby.

For Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Lilian’s will be hosting festive four-course dinners and on New Year’s Eve, The Inn will serve up a prix-fixe dinner with live music, cocktail specials and an East Coast countdown to 2026 at Bing’s Bar.
