If reader had award to give, it would go to Ernie Cowan
Re “U-T places first in 10 journalism awards, including special community honor” (July 3): Congratulations to all of the Union-Tribune writers and editors for their achievements in being recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists. If I were giving an award, it would be to your columnist Ernie Cowan, who provides such wonderful and uplifting insight into our natural world. I always eagerly await his articles and hope he will be a part of your Union-Tribune family for years to come.
