Kiwanis Club’s La Jolla pancake breakfast feeds funds to first responders
The Kiwanis Club of La Jolla served up food and good times over the weekend with its annual pancake breakfast at the La Jolla Recreation Center, with proceeds going to benefit first responders.
The public event Aug. 16 included all-you-can-eat pancakes and sausage, coffee and orange juice, pony rides, a bounce house, live music and a raffle. The Kiwanis issued a $16,000 grant to the First Responders Foundation.
