Love Your Library: Upcoming events include Annual Holiday Tea and Tree Raffle
It’s that special time of year when the Library Guild of Rancho Santa Fe rings in the holidays with two special events. First, a workshop where you can decorate a wreath or tree, and then the big event, the Annual Holiday Tea and Tree Raffle. Join the fun and bring your friends!
Library Guild of Rancho Santa Fe Annual Holiday Tea and Tree Raffle
Friday, Dec. 12, 1 p.m.Join us for the festive annual Holiday Tea and Tree Raffle filled with seasonal cheer! At 1 p.m. enjoy the enchanting sounds of holiday music with Adrienne Nims. That will be followed by an afternoon of crafts, tasty snacks, glitter tattoos, and magical moments with Carmen the Elf from 2 to 4 p.m. Don’t miss the chance to win a beautifully decorated tree and make cherished holiday memories with family and friends. This event is a fundraiser for the Library Guild of Rancho Santa Fe and you can buy raffle tickets starting on Thursday, Dec. 4.
Holiday Tea Tree and Wreath Workshop
Thursday, Dec. 4, 3 p.m.Come to the library with your friends and decorate your donated tree or wreath for the Holiday Tea! Please bring your own supplies and the library will provide scissors, glue and essentials. You can also donate a decorated tree or wreath by Thursday, Dec. 11, and it will be raffled off.

Chair Yoga
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:45 a.m.Join us for some gentle chair yoga with Silver Age Yoga. Space is limited to 25 and is on first-come first-served basis.
Meditation and Mindfulness
Wednesdays, 10 a.m.Discover simple, effective ways to reduce stress and bring balance and happiness into your life. This special program is limited to 20 participants.
American Flag Drop Off
If it’s time to retire your American Flag, please drop it off at the library. There is a drop box and your flag will be treated with respect.
Battery Drop Off at Library
The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a safe place to dispose of small batteries, including A, AA, AAA, C, lithium (with taped covered ends), cell phone and other small batteries. Do your part to stop pollution by bringing this toxic trash to the library. The drop-off program is in partnership with Universal Waste.
Seeds and Sustainability
The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a seed library too! Come by to pick up two free seed varieties that you can take home and plant.
Fun for Children and Tweens

The Rancho Santa Fe Library hours on Thursday, Dec. 11, will be 2 to 5 p.m. Book Cellar will have its usual hours, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on that day.
