It’s that special time of year when the Library Guild of Rancho Santa Fe rings in the holidays with its Annual Holiday Tea and Tree Raffle. Join the fun and bring your friends!

Library Guild of Rancho Santa Fe Annual Holiday Tea and Tree Raffle

Friday, Dec. 12, 1 p.m. Join us for the annual Holiday Tea and Tree Raffle filled with seasonal cheer! At 1 p.m. enjoy the enchanting sounds of holiday music with Adrienne Nims. That will be followed by an afternoon of crafts, tasty snacks, glitter tattoos, and magical moments with Carmen the Elf from 2 to 4 p.m. Don’t miss the chance to win a beautifully decorated tree and make cherished holiday memories with family and friends. This event is a fundraiser for the Library Guild of Rancho Santa Fe.

Regular Weekly Activities

Chair Yoga

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:45 a.m.  Join us for some gentle chair yoga with Silver Age Yoga. Space is limited to 25 and is on first-come first-served basis.

Meditation and Mindfulness

Wednesdays, 10 a.m. Discover simple, effective ways to reduce stress and bring balance and happiness into your life. This special program is limited to 20 participants.

American Flag Drop Off

If it’s time to retire your American Flag, please drop it off at the library. There is a drop box and your flag will be treated with respect.

Battery Drop Off at Library

The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a safe place to dispose of small batteries, including A, AA, AAA, C, lithium (with taped covered ends), cell phone and other small batteries. Do your part to stop pollution by bringing this toxic trash to the library. The drop-off program is in partnership with Universal Waste.

Seeds and Sustainability

The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a seed library too! Come by to pick up two free seed varieties that you can take home and plant.

Holiday Fun for Children and Tweens

Special Mrs. Claus Storytime: Tuesday, Dec. 16, 10:30 a.m.

Hanukkah Storytime: Thursday, Dec. 18, 10:30 a.m.

Cookies & Cocoa: Wednesday, Dec. 24, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.Enjoy some cookies and cocoa on Christmas Eve, compliments of the RSF Library. This is our gift to the community for the holiday season. Enjoy some refreshments, while supplies last.

Noon Year’s Eve Kids Movie and Craft: Wednesday, Dec. 31, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.Come to celebrate the New Year 2026 with crafts and a movie. Fun for the entire family.

*There will be no children’s and teen’s programming from Dec. 20 to 30, 2025.

Lego LabMondays, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.Build and play with Lego. All supplies provided.

Preschool StorytimeTuesdays, 10:30 to 11 a.m.Join us for stories, songs, and crafts designed for children ages 3–6.

STEAM ExplorersTuesdays, 2:30 to 3:30 p.m.Each week brings a new challenge blending science, technology, engineering, art, and math.

Toddler StorytimeWednesdays, 10:30 to 11:15 a.m.Stories, songs, and crafts for toddlers ages 18 months to 3 years.

Tween TimeWednesdays, 3 to 4 p.m.A creative space for 4th–8th graders to explore art, express themselves, and connect with peers through fun crafts and activities.

Baby StorytimeThursdays, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.Songs, stories, and playtime for ages 0–18 months.

Color, Cut & Create: Kids’ Art BuffetThursdays, 2 to 3 p.m.Kids can drop in and create with our buffet-style craft setup. A fun and flexible way to get creative.

Fun Movie FridayFridays, 2:30 to 4 p.m.Watch a family-friendly movie each week.
