Motorcyclist, 20, severely injured in La Jolla crash
A 20-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured early Friday, Aug. 8, in a crash in La Jolla, and authorities said she was not expected to survive.
The crash happened at about 3:10 a.m. when the woman was riding a Honda motorcycle east in the 2000 block of Torrey Pines Road and hit the center median, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Police said she was ejected from the motorcycle and suffered multiple life-threatening injuries. She was taken by ambulance to a hospital in critical condition. Her name was not immediately released.
