Motorcyclist who died in Miramar crash identified
Authorities publicly identified a 30-year-old man who was killed last weekend in a Miramar motorcycle accident.
Elijah Welsh of San Diego was riding to the south on a transition ramp from Interstate 15 to state Route 163 on Saturday when his motorcycle struck a concrete barrier and crashed onto the roadway, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Paramedics took Welsh to Sharp Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead from blunt-force trauma about 4:15 that afternoon, the county agency reported.
