National Charity League, San Dieguito Chapter celebrates philanthropy, camaraderie and more at Ticktoker Day
The National Charity League, San Dieguito Chapter recently celebrated its annual Ticktocker Day, an event hosted by the chapter’s Ticktocker Council and designed to honor the spirit of philanthropy and sisterhood. Held at Ocean Air Park in Carmel Valley, the day brought together more than 80 Ticktockers from grades 7 through 12, according to a news release.
The young volunteers gathered not only to enjoy time together, but also to serve the community through hands-on projects. They created dog toys for foster puppies at Labs & More and assembled over 200 bags of candy along with handwritten notes of gratitude and appreciation for Step Up for the Enlisted, which will be distributed to military families during the holiday season.
Ticktocker Day continues to be a meaningful tradition for the chapter, offering participants the opportunity to strengthen friendships, build leadership skills, and work collectively toward the shared mission of giving back to the community, the news release stated.
The San Dieguito Chapter’s Membership Drive runs from Jan. 15 through March 1. The chapter will be accepting applications in 2026 for 6th grade girls who graduate high school in the year 2032 and for 8th grade girls who graduate high school in the year 2030.
