Our Readers Write: A heartwarming surprise on a rainy day

Thank you to the family who brightened our day

Recently on a rainy day two girls about 11 years old stopped by with their mom and had paper cups filled with hot chocolate mix, marshmallows and a candy cane. I don’t know who they were, but it was delightful.

They went door to door to Catalina Boulevard houses near Point Loma Avenue. Thank you to the anonymous greeters and their mom. Heartwarming!
