Pacific Ridge School, an independent, co-ed, college preparatory day school in Carlsbad,  started its 19th academic year with the Annual Trustee Dinner. The event, honoring current and former trustees, was held on Sept. 30 at the Rancho Santa Fe home of current trustee Heather Steinmeier and her husband, Rich.

“We are deeply grateful to our trustees, both past and present, and look forward to reconnecting with those who shaped the school in its early years and to collaborating with our current board on the exciting opportunities ahead,” said Head of School Bob Ogle in a news release prior to the event.

Founded by local families in 2007, Pacific Ridge School serves more than 660 students in grades six through 12. The school is renowned for its commitment to fostering academic excellence, ethical responsibility, and global engagement, the news release stated. The school’s mission is to prepare students not only for college but also for purposeful lives as engaged global citizens.
