Paddles up! Ocean Beach ping pong tournament packs ’em in
The Ocean Beach Woman’s Club presented its fifth annual “Battle for the Paddle” ping pong tournament Sept. 26 at its clubhouse on Bacon Street.
Kevin Hastings, the 2022 and ’23 champion, defeated last year’s winner, Raul Gutierrez, to reclaim the crown.
All proceeds from the 32-player coed tournament go to support the Woman’s Club’s local philanthropic efforts.
