Patience of UCSD students seeking to vote was inspiring
I worked the election polls at UCSD and was amazed how many students stood in line (some up to four and a half hours) in order to change their registration so they could vote in San Diego County. They remained upbeat and thankful for our service (we didn’t leave until 2 a.m.). It was a true inspiration to me to see the power of democracy among our youth. Way to go, UCSD students!
