Pedestrian dies after being hit by a car in Ramona
A pedestrian was killed Saturday night after she and another person were struck by a vehicle on a Ramona street, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 9:25 p.m. at Main and Seventh streets, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The pedestrian died before she could be taken to a hospital. Her name and age were not released. The condition of the other pedestrian was unavailable.
All lanes were blocked as the CHP tended to the injured pedestrians and an investigation was conducted.
