Pedestrian struck, killed in City Heights
A pedestrian was struck and killed by a motorist Sunday night in City Heights, according to San Diego police.
Few details of the crash were immediately available, but it happened just after 8:15 p.m. on Home Avenue just north of Fairmount Avenue, San Diego police Officer John Buttle said.
Initial information from police indicated the driver remained at the scene, according to Buttle.
No other details of the fatal crash were available Sunday night.
