Pet of the week: Pup with three legs loves to go on adventures

Animal: Nemo, 2-year-old Australian cattle dog/blue heeler mix, #960539.

Where: San Diego Humane Society, El Cajon Campus, 1373 N. Marshall Ave.

Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays and until 7 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays.

Adoption fee: $153 (50% off during August–$76.50 and free on Aug. 23 as part of Clear the Shelters Month); includes microchip with lifetime registration, vet exam.

Profile: Nemo is a resilient pup who came to the shelter with only three legs, but he doesn’t let anything slow him down. He’s a happy fellow who is always ready to join in a walk, playtime or cuddle. He loves to go on adventures and rides well in a car.
