Pet of the week: Shy cat looking for a new home
Animal: Bop It, a 3-year-old, 12-pound, male domestic shorthair cat.
Where: Rancho Coastal Humane Society, 389 Requeza St., Encinitas. Open for adoptions from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day except Tuesday.
Adoption fee: $100, includes microchip registration, spay/neuter and up-to-date vaccinations and a one-year license if his new home is in the jurisdiction of San Diego Humane Society’s Department of Animal Services.
Profile: Bop It is shy and squirmy. He needs a family that will give him time to adjust.
