Preview: The San Diego Section’s team championship matches feature three singles players and three doubles teams playing round-robin, one-set matches. This is a rematch of last year’s championship, won 13-5 by Canyon Crest Academy. Del Norte reached the championship match with a 12-6 win over No. 7 La Costa Canyon in the quarterfinals, then edged No. 3 Cathedral Catholic 9-9, advancing 85-79 in games. Canyon Crest Academy defeated No. 8 Our Lady of Peace 13-5 in the quarterfinals and Bishop’s 14-4 in the semifinals.
