Division 5-AA: (3) The Cambridge School (8-10) vs. (1) St. Joseph Academy (11-22), 5:30 p.m.

Preview: Both teams are coming off sweeps in the semifinals, The Cambridge School beating second-seeded Calvin Christian and St. Joseph Academy topping fourth-seeded Calipatria. The top-seeded Crusaders went 0-12 in the tough seven-team Pacific League, which was won by 29-8 Classical Academy. Senior Adley Fontaine leads the team with 95 kills, while freshman Kristen Elsner is next with 89. Fontaine also leads the defense with 203 digs. … The Griffins have won four of their past six and swept the Crusaders at a tournament early in the season.

Division 5: (2) Mountain Empire (26-7) vs. (1) O’Farrell Charter (20-5), 7:30 p.m.

Preview: Mountain Empire is coming off a dominant sweep of No. 6 seed The Preuss School in the semifinals. The Redhawks have won 11 in a row. Junior middle/outside Bibi Caceres is one kill away from 300. Juniors Josalin Shawcroft (227) and Kailey Quintana (124) are also in double digits on the year. Sophomore libero Rowan Smith has 486 digs, … The Falcons have split two matches with Mountain Empire this season. Sandwiched between that loss in October are 12 consecutive wins. Junior Naomi Carrillo has a team-high 86 kills, while senior libero Jazmin Catapang takes care of the defense in the back.
