Preview: USD can clinch winning season by beating Butler

History: USD leads the all-time series, 21-6, though the teams haven’t met since 2022. Butler won the last meeting 26-23 in San Diego.

Bulldogs notes: Butler’s Pioneer Football League games have been decided by 3, 7 (overtime), 6, 6, 5 and 1 point. The Bulldogs have lost three of their last four. Reagan Andrew leads Butler in passing (1,382 yards, 10 TDs) and rushing (544 yards, eight TDs.).

Toreros notes: A victory clinches a winning season for USD, which has won three straight. Dom Nankil has played well during the three-game winning streak, completing 70% of his passes for 722 yards and five TDs against one interception.
