Problems with traffic enforcement go beyond downtown
Re “Noisy, dangerous downtown traffic a problem city must address” (Nov. 23): In addition to downtown, try Cortez Hill some evening. The noise from modified vehicles is deafening when echoing and reverberating off the buildings. Stop signs are just a suggestion. Ash Street off State Route 163 is a raceway with speeding and red-light violations. This has all been reported to the city and police, getting little response. That kind of silence is not appreciated.
