R. Roger Rowe Middle School cross country team finishes strong at League Championships

R. Roger Rowe’s middle school cross country team wrapped up their banner season at the League Championships in Coronado on Oct. 30, where the north and south leagues came together for one thrilling final race. The energy was high, the competition fierce, and the Rowe runners rose to the occasion, according to a news release.

Rowe’s Loren Vieira claimed 1st place in the boys race, finishing the 1.5-mile course in an incredible 7:56,  a new school record that also secured his title as the undefeated first-place finisher for the entire season, the news release stated.

The boys team earned an impressive 2nd place overall, just behind Maranatha. “We couldn’t be prouder of their hard work, determination, and team spirit. A huge thank-you to Coach James Dietler for his fantastic leadership, contagious energy, and dedication throughout the season,” the news release stated.
