Rancho Coastal Humane Society hosts Celebration of Second Chances event
Rancho Coastal Humane Society held its annual Celebration of Second Chances benefit event Sept. 13 at the Del Mar Country Club. The event included great food, inspirational guests, music, auction items and more. The event hosts were Jeff Zevely of KFMB’s The Zevely Zone and his wife, Heather Zevely, a former KFMB reporter and now a registered nurse.
Funds raised during the Celebration support Rancho Coastal Humane Society’s programs for people and animals, including Friends of County Animal Shelters (FOCAS), Pet Adoption, Humane Education, the Animal Safehouse Program, Pet Assisted Therapy, and the Community Pet Food Bank.
