Rotary Club of La Jolla brings flowers and holiday cheer to League House
The Rotary Club of La Jolla continued its yearly tradition of bringing red and green — but mostly red — to the League House in La Jolla to ring in the holidays. Along with a poinsettia for every resident, the club provided brunch for about two dozen people on Dec. 4.
The League House at 7465 Olivetas Ave., managed by the Social Service League of La Jolla, is home to low-income seniors whose rent includes one meal a day, five days a week.
Rotary Club of La Jolla members have been longtime supporters of the League House, often holding fundraisers for the organization.
