Scene: Humble Design’s Welcome Home

Humble Design San Diego hosted its annual Welcome Home event Sept. 25 at the San Diego Wine & Culinary Center.

Funds raised benefit the nonprofit’s mission to provide hope and dignity to families, veterans, and individuals emerging from homelessness. Each week, Humble Design custom designs and fully furnishes three empty homes in San Diego. Almost all Humble Design’s clients stay housed after receiving the organization’s services, according to a 2024 study by UC San Diego Homelessness Hub.
