Society is built on ‘rules of engagement’ that Hegseth scorns
Re “Trump, Hegseth lecture military brass” (Oct. 2): Pete Hegseth, secretary of defense, in his speech to senior military leaders Tuesday called for the elimination of “overbearing rules of engagement.” Really?
The Bill of Rights, the Ten Commandments, the Torah and the life of Jesus Christ promulgated the “rules of engagement” for a civilized society. Which of these does Hegseth wish to eliminate?
Something to think about.
