Temporary Torrey Pines Road lane closures to end Friday
Roadwork resulting in the temporary closure of the westbound right-turn lane and bike lane on Torrey Pines Road between Coast Walk and Prospect Place in La Jolla is set to end Friday, Aug. 22.
The closure began Aug. 18 and will continue Aug. 22 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. before concluding.
The work is part of a project in which the K-rail barrier on the north side of Torrey Pines Road in that area will be replaced with a more robust guardrail, a city representative said.
The project later will include more temporary lane closures at some point as construction is expected to begin this winter.
