Three people arrested in fatal Linda Vista park shooting

Three suspects were arrested Wednesday in connection with a fatal shooting two months ago at Linda Vista Park.

Police arrested Sara Benitez, 34, Adrian Alberto Flores Jr., 30, and Christopher Hensley, 32, according to the San Diego Police Department. The trio has been charged with murder in the death of 40-year-old Enrique Nunez.

Patrol officers responding to a report of a shooting shortly before 1 a.m. Oct. 6 found Nunez at the Levant Street park, suffering from gunshot wounds, Lt. Chris Tivanian said. Paramedics took the victim to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have released no suspected motive for the deadly shooting.

The suspects were being held without bail pending arraignment, scheduled for Friday afternoon.
