Will hefty parking fees at Balboa Park backfire on city?
Re “Divided San Diego council reluctantly OKs plan for paid parking passes in Balboa Park” (Nov. 18): While city employees may have an extra $300 available, most of us regular folks do not have that luxury. I believe these exorbitant fees will backfire, and the citizens will stop going to the park. The city seems to be making poor financial decisions these days.
