CEA to hold virtual workshops to gather community feedback
The Clean Energy Alliance will hold two virtual workshops on Sept. 24, one from 5-6 p.m. in Spanish and another from 6-7 p.m. in English, to hear feedback from residents and businesses about their energy needs.
The workshops are the final two in a series that the CEA has held throughout September.
According to a news release, the feedback from the workshops “will guide the development of CEA’s Energy Programs Plan, helping ensure future programs, rebates and incentives reflect the real needs of CEA’s customers.”
“CEA’s mission is about more than delivering clean power — it’s about creating programs that truly benefit the people we serve,” Greg Wade, CEO of the Clean Energy Alliance, said in a statement. “By participating in these workshops, residents and businesses can help us develop solutions that are affordable, resilient and equitable for our communities.”
The previous workshops were held at House of Prayer in Escondido, San Marcos Community Room and the Carlsbad Senior Center. All workshops are facilitated by Universidad Popular.
