Clean Energy Alliance announces Solana Beach workshop
The Clean Energy Alliance is hosting an additional community energy planning workshop at Solana Beach City Hall on Nov. 6 from 5:30-7 p.m.
The recent workshops held by CEA have been “to gather input from residents and local businesses about their energy needs and priorities,” according to a news release.
“This feedback will help guide the development of CEA’s Energy Programs Plan: a roadmap for future rebates, incentives and sustainability programs across CEA’s seven member cities,” the news release said.
All of the workshops have included interactive discussions led by Universidad Popular, an organization that facilitates civic engagement and outreach to Spanish-speaking residents as well.
There is also an upcoming workshop Nov. 5 at the Libby Lake Community Center in Oceanside from 5:30-7 p.m.
“CEA’s strength comes from engaging with and listening to the communities we serve,” Clean Energy Alliance CEO Greg Wade said in a statement. “These workshops are a chance for everyone to be part of the conversation and help shape programs that deliver real local benefits.”
