Farmers Insurance Open field to include many of its former champs and major tournament titlists
The field is shaping up for the 2026 Farmers Insurance Open, the PGA Tour event to be played Thursday through Sunday, Jan. 29 to Feb. 1, at Torrey Pines Golf Course in La Jolla.
Star golfer Brooks Koepka will make his return to the PGA Tour in the Farmers following his reinstatement Jan. 12.
Koepka left the tour in 2022 to join LIV Golf. He discontinued his association with LIV last month with a year left on his contract and applied to be reinstated to the PGA Tour.

Koepka, 35, has been one of the biggest names in golf in the past decade. This will be his fifth appearance in the Farmers. He missed the cut in 2022 when he last played there. Seven months before that, Koepka tied for fourth place in the 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.
He is a five-time major championship winner with nine victories overall on the PGA Tour.
The list of other players who have committed to this year’s Farmers — the last to be played with Farmers Insurance title sponsorship after the company did not renew its contract — includes six former Farmers champions, seven major tournament champions and three San Diego-area natives.
In addition to Koepka, here’s a look at other notables on the roster so far:
