New Art Exhibition by Anne Phillips
Until Sept. 26
Anne Phillips hosts a new art display called, “The Secret Language of Flowers.” The exhibition will be in the Media Room at the Rancho Santa Fe Library, Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Great Decisions
Monday, Sept. 8, 10:15 a.m. to 12:30 p m.
Discuss a topic from the Great Decisions Briefing Book about foreign policies. The next topic will be lesson six, “The Future of NATO and the European Security.”
Fix-It Clinic
Saturday, Sept. 13, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Coffee and Conversation: Adventures on the Pacific Crest Trail
Thursday, Sept.18, 11 a.m.Dana Law shares his experience hiking the entire 2,650 miles of the Pacific Crest Trail, from the Mexican border to Canada. He’s done 31 sections over 13 years and will provide insights so you can plan your own hiking adventure!
All About Daylilies
Friday, Sept. 19, 10:30 a.m.Join us to learn all about daylilies, including care, division and planting. Take home daylilies to grow and enjoy. All supplies are provided, but space is limited, so call 858-756-2512 to reserve your spot, or sign up at the library.

Saturday, Sept. 27, 1 p.m.A husband-and-wife musical duo, Peter Sharpe and Lauren Stovall focus on playing a mix of old and new acoustic music. Their repertoire includes everything from classic jazz and folk to modern pop, with a touch of world music thrown in for good measure. Fun for the entire family. Light refreshments provided.
Molé Mama, Diana Silva
Saturday, Oct. 4, 10:30 a.m.Meet Diana Silva, known as Molé Mama, as she shares her book, Abuelita’s Magical Molcajete. Diana cooks up tales that celebrate the magic of family, the power of food, and the laughter that keeps us all coming back for more. Be captivated by her infectious enthusiasm and learn how she connects food to family, memories, and the joy of living. There will be a drawing for a free copy of her book and a free cooking lesson.
Rancho Santa Fe Library Book Club
Every second Friday, 1:30 p.m.Join your friends and neighbors for a lively discussion of The Witch Elm by Tana French. This meeting will be on Friday, Sept.12.
Writers Group
Every second Wednesday, 12:30 to 2 p.m.Are you competent, diligent, and amiable writer of fiction or narrative non-fiction? Then join us as we meet to discuss the creative process, mechanics of craft, and representation and happenings in the publishing world. We also talk about books, films and more. The next meeting will be Sept. 10.
Chair Yoga

Meditation and Mindfulness

American Flag Drop Off
If it’s time to retire your American Flag, please drop it off at the library. There is a drop box and your flag will be treated with respect.
Battery Drop Off at Library
The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a safe place to dispose of small batteries, including A, AA, AAA, C, lithium (with taped covered ends), cell phone and other small batteries. Do your part to stop pollution by bringing this toxic trash to the library. The drop-off program is in partnership with Universal Waste.
Seeds and Sustainability
The Rancho Santa Fe Library is a seed library too! Come by to pick up two free seed varieties that you can take home and plant.
