Firing a 2-under-par 72 over the Chino Hills’ Los Serranos Golf Club North course, the senior led the Broncos to a second-place finish in the SoCal Championships and a berth in the state championships.

The junior scored with 28 seconds remaining to lead the Vikings past Cathedral Catholic 13-12 in the Open Division championship contest. Black finished with four goals.

Adding two more goals to the nation’s-best 52 she had scored this season, the sophomore led the Knights past Canyon Hills 3-0 in the Open Division championship match.

The senior gained 307 yards on 20 carries and scored three touchdowns to lead the Hornets past Poway 53-41 in the Division 1 quarterfinals. He scored on runs of 3, 90 and 42 yards.

The sophomore scored the winning goal on a 1-on-1 opportunity in sudden victory, propelling the Sundevils past La Costa Canyon 3-2 in the section Division 1 championships.
