Santa Fe Christian’s head football coach celebrates his 100th win
Santa Fe Christian recently celebrated Head Football Coach Jon Wallace on achieving his 100th career win at SFC. This milestone marks not only an extraordinary record of success on the field but also a legacy of leadership, mentorship, and faith that has shaped thousands of student-athletes, according to a news release.
Through his steadfast commitment, he has built men of character, integrity, and purpose. His players know him not only as a coach, but as a mentor who has invested deeply in their lives.
“I have personally seen Jon Wallace love my own sons as though they were his children while they played here at SFC,” said Doug Miller, SFC’s athletic director, in the news release. “When my two boys were high school football players, there were several times where I, as a father, could let go, take a deep breath, and know my sons were in great hands.”
Wallace’s influence can be seen in the countless young men who carry forward the lessons he has taught about perseverance, teamwork, selflessness, and faith.
“Coach Wallace has been more than a coach to me ever since I came to SFC,” said SFC junior Chase Woolley, in the news release. “He’s taught me how to be a great football player, a great young man, and, most importantly, he has shown us through his actions what it truly means to be a man of God.”
