Scene: Arc of San Diego’s Fashion Show and Luncheon

The Arc of San Diego’s annual Winter Wonderland Fashion Show & Luncheon was held Dec. 5 at The US Grant Hotel.

The event, with the theme “Shimmer & Glimmer,” featured boutique shopping, a silent auction and a runway fashion show produced by style personality Leonard Simpson.

Winter Wonderland raised $240,000. The Arc of San Diego also announced a gift of $100,000 from the David C. Copley Foundation to support early intervention services to help  children with autism and developmental delays.

Ballroom dance champion and television personality Mary Murphy returned as the emcee. Maria Stanley, Laura Applegate, Cici Drummond, Erica Ram, Malissa Sanfilippo, and Jenny Seligmann chaired the event.

The Arc of San Diego serves over 2,000 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, such as autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome, annually.
