Trump’s contempt for physically challenged people is appalling
Re “White House resists using sign language” (Dec. 15): Ten years ago, I was disgusted by Donad Trump’s display of mocking a reporter with a disability. A few days ago, I was appalled at the news that Secretary of State Marco Rubio has been tasked with changing the font in government documents from Calibri (more accessible to visually impaired persons) to Times New Roman. This morning, I see that Trump’s deep insecurity and total lack of empathy are evidenced by his proposed ban on ASL interpreters so that he can “control his image.” How pathetic.
