Woman found dead in overturned vehicle in San Marcos identified
Authorities have publicly identified a woman who died last week in a traffic crash in her hometown of San Marcos.
A passerby made a 911 call about 3:15 a.m. Sept. 29 to report finding 80-year-old Jean Stickel’s car overturned in a vacant lot alongside West San Marcos Boulevard, near state Route 78, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Emergency personnel discovered Stickel dead inside the vehicle, the agency reported.
